About this Blog….

Businesses are messengers.    A business runs night and day. They aspire to develop and serve, even make a living.  For this reason, community businesses, its consultants, the staff and board members of community-based nonprofit corporations have vital common interests.

For example:

The goal of this blog is to develop ideas and make contacts with people who want to make Malcolm X Boulevard a high quality retail destination.

…that means several things

serving the 40,000 residents within walking distance with quality goods and services at fair and competitive prices…

…or by making the MX merchants association:

  1. The most interesting neighborhood business group in Brooklyn
  2. A strong contributor to identifying the training needs of staff
  3. Finding people interested in buying their business(es)
  4. Being a major contributor (investor) to the mix of businesses
  5. As partner (or advocate) of affordable housing preservation and development
